Centrale Luštica Bay by Angsana is a new 5-star boutique hotel set along the Centrale Piazza. A new urban corner for the community that weaves in its past to build connections for the future.

Centrale Piazza, the beating heart of Luštica Bay, was beginning to take shape and, at the centre of this new town square, one building stood apart. Not for its size, but for its potential. Once part of former military barracks, the building’s clean lines and mirrored-steel accents caught the eye of Samih Sawiris, the founder of Luštica Bay.

In those details he saw a place that would anchor the community while honouring the site’s past. And so, together with Paris-based Simon Drolet, in his capacity as Creative Director on behalf of the investor, and Montenegrin architectural studio NRA Atelier, the vision for Centrale Luštica Bay by Angsana hotel was created: a space where hospitality would feel effortless, design would be intentional but discreet, and every detail would reflect its surroundings with quiet confidence.

Centrale Luštica Bay by Angsana champions a different kind of luxury: one born from simplicity, comfort, and an undeniable connection to place. Its architecture — clean and modern — skilfully weaves in local textures, ensuring it feels inherently grounded in its environment. Every space is meticulously considered, and the welcome you’ll find is genuinely warm.

Step inside any of the 27 rooms and suites and you’re met with an immediate sense of calm. Interiors are a study in understated warmth: soft fabrics, natural wood, muted metals, and thoughtfully curated local art. This is a place where comfort reigns supreme, but never at the expense of style.

At the heart of the hotel lies Centrale Brasserie, a relaxed gathering point for locals, travellers, and residents. Here, the kitchen reinterprets Montenegrin flavours through a subtle international lens, resulting in a menu that feels both familiar and wonderfully new.

The emphasis is on seasonal produce, balanced flavours, and a dining experience that feels as natural and unforced as the landscape outside.

For moments of rejuvenation, the hotel’s intimate Angsana SPA corner features a herbal steam room and dedicated treatment room. The focus here is to restore balance rather than overwhelm the senses. Each treatment is an invitation to slow down, promising to leave you feeling refreshed and at ease.

That invitation continues outside: the hotel’s privileged position, sitting between the Adriatic and the verdant hillside, summons you to move and discover. Sea-swims in the morning, tennis in the afternoon, golf as the sun sets.

For a slower pace, Kotor’s nearby old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers quiet streets, shaded courtyards, and centuries of history best explored without a plan.
