Montenegro is a real catalogue of all natural beauties. From the idyllic coast on the warm Adriatic Sea with one of the most beautiful bays in the world, national and natural parks, clean lakes and rivers and the deepest canyons, to majestic mountain massifs – everything is packed into a little more than 13 thousand square kilometres. The country made up of astonishing contrasts is the right place to enjoy your stay to the fullest with all your senses, surrounded by the easy rhythm of life. Here dolce vita is brought to perfection. The stunning region of Bjelasica and Komovi mountains, with the town of Kolašin as its core, is Europe’s best-kept ski secret. The mountain gem, Bjelasica mountain and the town of Kolašin are rapidly becoming a new Montenegrin hot-spot destination. Thoughtfully located in the gentle topography of Bjelasica mountain, nine kilometres from the town centre, the first Montenegrin mountain resort, Kolašin Valleys, represents a new real estate community with a unique concept for living at the top.

Swissôtel Resort Kolašin

The carefully designed ski-in/ski-out concept of an exclusive retreat was developed by one of the most famous global planners, the Canadian company Ecosign. The first phase of the master plan of Bjelasica and Komovi is being implemented through Kolašin Valleys – its ski resorts Kolašin 1450 and K16 unite 42 kilometres of ski tracks into the new ski capital of Montenegro and the largest ski area on the Adriatic. By Its two ski resorts – Kolašin 1450 and K16 – this mountain destination brings a touch of the French Alps to charming hotel apartments and premium chalet villas made of European larch and native uncut stone.

Swissôtel Resort Kolašin

Carefully positioned on the slopes and chosen valleys around the ski slopes, the first two hotels in Kolašin Valleys – Swissôtel Resort Kolašin and Grand Chalet, will open their doors in the winter season 2023/2024. Swissôtel Resort Kolašin at 1600 meters above sea level in the K16 ski resort provides owners with favourable conditions for renting apartments in the Yarrow and Arnica residences, two restaurants, a ski room, and an exclusive spa & wellness. The properties, from studios to two-room apartments, are designed for a pleasant vacation, a refuge after challenges on the ski slopes or time spent in the clean mountain air. The apartments are sold fully furnished. The interior is inspired by the harmony of the elements of the environment – stone, wood and wool, exuberant, hundred-year-old spruces, and the sky, which are reflected in the clean aesthetics of a subtle palette of earthy and pastel tones. Traditional mountain architecture has been given a modern expression here, uniting the hint of old times with the advantages of modern life through high-quality equipment and furniture. Here, skiers will find a refuge for rest after the excitement on the slopes, relaxation with a good wine before falling asleep and a unique offer of the best traditional delicacies prepared according to the local recipes kept for hundreds of years.

As the central point of the K16 settlement, Thyme Residences were created to keep the settlement alive 365 days a year. With numerous retail outlets, funky bars and restaurants, Thyme Residences are that vibrant place close to everything you need for your comfortable stay in a resort. From there you can go cycling, hiking, camping, rafting, in botanical exploration and plenty of other attractions available in the surroundings of the Kolašin Valleys. During clear winter and summer nights, the stars will seem closer than anywhere else. The modern design of the apartments with a hint of tradition is designed to inspire and please all senses. The lobby bar, restaurants, exclusive spa and apartments will have direct access to the ski slopes, providing maximum comfort to future owners. The completion of these residences is planned for the winter of 2025.

Swissôtel Resort Kolašin

A unique mountain paradise with ski to-door access, Kolašin Valleys is a place alternately filled with soothing mountain rhythm and the adrenaline and energy of skiers. Ski Village Kolašin 1450 is one of the oldest and most famous Montenegrin ski resorts. By setting new standards and redefining luxury, the design of the Grand Chalet Hotel with its 116 units, ski room, restaurant and retail facilities is designed to last forever. The minimalistic appearance of the wooden ceilings and walls of the apartment gives the impression of a warm and comfortable retreat, and the recessed balconies frame the view of centuries-old forests and gentle slopes. A vibrant hub is a decent, elegant restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows which bring the landscape of mountain peaks into the space as an unreal sight. The main building of the hotel has 65 accommodation units, from 38 m2 to 84 m2, while the residences include 51 housing units, ranging insize from 32 m2 to 143 m2. The starting price for a one-room unit is 250,000 euros, and 350,000 euros for two-room units. The newest addition to Ski Village Kolašin 1450, Hotel Kilimanjaro in a central position in the resort dominates the design and concept inspired by the power of nature. From the name to the materials used, the distinctiveness of these properties is emphasized by the use of local stone and wood as timeless values for future owners, allowing them to fully experience the peace, tranquillity and beauty of nature. Two luxurious restaurants, a modern ski room for cleaning, drying and preparing equipment for the next adventure on powder snow slopes, a spa and a gym make up the list of benefits for apartment owners.

Hotel Kilimanjaro, Kolašin 1450

The owners have the opportunity to choose from a collection of 77 accommodation units, from studios of 36 m2 – 42 m2, one-room apartments from 45 m2 – 50 m2 to two-room apartments from 60 m2 – 77 m2. The starting price of real estate is 250,000 euros. The hotel Kilimanjaro will open its doors to its first guests in the winter of 2025. Ski Village Kolašin 1450 is the first ski resort in Bjelasica and the pinnacle of Montenegrin ski tourism with a base station at 1450 meters above sea level. Three ski lifts and a two-seater have been completely reconstructed, and the new six-seater chairlift is considered the best of its type in the region. In addition, two modern six-seaters were acquired, which puts the ski resort Kolašin in a leading position in the region. New ski slopes were built and the existing ones expanded, so the capacity of the ski resort increased to 5,500 skiers per hour. The sophisticated offer of real estate and the appearance of Kolašin Valleys will be complemented by 73 private chalets in both ski resorts. They are surrounded by hotels, numerous restaurants, bars, shops, a Nordic spa and further developed ski lifts and trails.

Hotel Thyme, K16, Kolašin Valleys

In addition to offering a superb skiing experience, Kolašin Valleys is becoming the capital of gastronomy and social life in the mountains of Montenegro, with numerous top restaurants, apres-ski eclectic bars and clubs. Although it has less than ten thousand inhabitants, Kolašin welcomes five times as many tourists every year. It is bordered by the mountain ranges of Bjelasica and the Biogradska gora National Park. With more than 40 km of ski trails and a hundred ski days, six lakes, dozens of viewpoints, katuns and ten peaks over two thousand meters above sea level, this area is an ideal combination for activities throughout the year, escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and indulgence in nature.
